The American Cancer Society Patrick F. Taylor Hope Lodge
The Brees Dream Foundation has committed to fund a $1,000,000 renovation project for this outstanding facility.
The American Cancer Society’s Patrick F. Taylor Hope Lodge is a unique “home away from home” for those who need warm, caring, no-cost accommodations during their cancer treatment at a New Orleans area medical facility. The facility is named in memory of Patrick F. Taylor who was a true American hero who believed in the power of the American people. He was a successful oilman, philanthropist and educational reformist who inspired young people to dream. Mr. Taylor was a strong supporter of all branches of the United States military. He was an ally and friend to our men and women at all levels of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. He will forever be remembered as a national role model for creating and implementing the Taylor Plan across the United States. Mr. Taylor was the Chairman, President and CEO of Taylor Energy Company until his death on November 5, 2004.
The funding for this project is complete and the project has entered the construction phase.
