George Washington Carver High School

The Brees Dream Foundation and Payton’s Play It Forward Foundation have agreed to jointly contribute a total of $40,000 to G.W. Carver High School in the Upper 9th Ward.  The Foundations have joined together to cover G.W. Carver High School’s sports operating budget for the next two years.

Additionally, the Brees Dream Foundation is outfitting all G.W. Carver High School athletes with new uniforms, including everything from swim trunks to running spikes.  G.W. Carver High School currently competes in football, volleyball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, softball and track.
