Earlier this year, Drew had the opportunity to go up in a Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet with Major Nathan Miller. In today's all volunteer force, the Blue Angels are an integral part of the Navy & Marine Corps. Flights in the two-seat, Number Seven Jet are intended to heighten public awareness of Navy opportunities and are in direct support of the Navy & Marine Corps recruiting efforts.
During the off season, Drew traveled to Kuwait and United Lab Emirates on a USO trip with former Charger teammate Donnie Edwards.
