Habitat for Humanity - Rebuilding thru Brotherhood

The Brees Dream Foundation and Habitat for Humanity continued their partnership for the second year of "Rebuilding thru Brotherhood". New Orleans Quarterback, Drew Brees hosted approximately 30 Sigma Chi fraternity brothers from Purdue University and the University of Western Ontario. Drew wanted to direct the philanthropic commitment of Sigma Chi towards the rebuilding efforts in New Orleans while also showing his comrades how much New Orleans has to offer. He challenged the fraternities to compete for spaces on the trip by putting their fundraising talents to work. The houses that met the goal of $2500 first were given the opportunity to participate.
Together with Habitat for Humanity, Drew and his fraternity brothers enjoyed the opportunity to make a difference by rebuilding the damaged homes of Katrina survivors.
Hotel accommodations and food were provided by the New Orleans Marriott. We thank them for their support of the Brees Dream Foundation.
