Brees on the Seas

The Second Annual Brees on the Seas was held in Venice, LA on Sunday, May 19th. Once again the tireless efforts of Andy & Colleen Mnichowski proved to be a big hit.
Drew & Brittany Brees hosted 30 children from Children's Hospital and Ochsner Hospital to a day of fishing along with Drew's New Orleans Saints teammates. The Anglers were gracious to donate their time, patience and boats to create a day the children would not soon forget. The event gives hospitalized children, and those receiving treatments for serious illnesses, the opportunity to fish with a Saints player and a local fishing guide.
"For this one day, these kids get to forget that they are sick.", right tackle Jonathan Stincomb said. "Today, they were on a boat with no doctor and as far away from a hospital room they could be."
That is what this day is all about, just being a kid.
